What Moves Us: The Energy We Share - A Free Creative Laboratory.
About this Event
Creativity begins with attention.
What moves us?
Breath. Memory. Gravity. Curiosity. One another.
What Moves Us: The Energy We Share is an immersive five-session workshop series where movement, conversation, drawing, observation, writing, sound, and imagination become tools for exploring the relationships that shape our lives.
You don’t need artistic experience. You don’t need dance experience.
You only need curiosity.
Together we’ll investigate creativity as a way of paying attention. Through guided artistic inquiry, participants explore movement, stillness, voice, image, reflection, and shared discovery while gradually uncovering connections between ourselves, our communities, and the natural systems that sustain us.
Who Belongs?

There is no right way to participate.
Every form of curiosity belongs.
What Moves Us: The Energy We Share was developed with the support of the Arts & Clean Energy Grant in partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE), The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes and being held at the Community Arts of Elmira.
Rather than approaching renewable energy as a technical subject alone, the workshops explore stewardship, interdependence, resources and our relationships with one another and the living systems that sustain are available to further support our communities through shared embodied experience.
