About this Event

What does Manchester mean to you?

Meeting point - Next to Manchester Central Library entrance. We'll have a sign saying Photo Walk!

This workshop is an opportunity to slow down, look closer and discover the details that often go unnoticed in everyday life.

Together we'll follow a carefully selected route through the city, photographing hidden

gems, architectural details, urban textures, patterns and moments of nature within the

cityscape. Along the way, participants will be invited to share their own memories, stories,

associations and perspectives on Manchester, creating a collective portrait of the city

through conversation and photography.

This is not a technical photography workshop. Whether you use a professional camera or

simply your phone, the focus is on curiosity, creativity and seeing familiar places from a new perspective.

The workshop will last approximately 1.5 hours. After the walk, participants are welcome to

continue the conversation over a coffee or tea at a nearby café. This is a space to connect

with others, exchange stories, reflect on the experience and share the images created

during the walk.

And don't worry about the Manchester weather - if it rains, we'll bring our umbrellas and

continue exploring. Sometimes the city reveals its most beautiful details in the rain.
