As world leaders, climate experts, and advocates gather in Baku, Azerbaijan, for the Conference of the Parties (COP) 29 United Nations climate conference, we ask what these international discussions mean for climate action here in Massachusetts.
Join us for an interactive discussion about climate action in Massachusetts and across the globe, featuring UMass Lowell students who have just returned from COP29 and Massachusetts State Representative Joan Meschino, a leader on climate policy. Our panel will explore how Massachusetts can learn from international climate efforts and further strengthen its leadership on climate action.
Bring your questions and ideas for the panel discussion, followed by networking and hors d’oeuvres.
