I will explain what Qigong is, how it was developed, what are the benefits of a practice. Will give a demonstration and teach a few exercises, then we will do a short routine.

About the Instructor:
Candy brings over 30 years of experience as a practicing psychotherapist, with a deep commitment to holistic healing and the mind-body-spirit connection. She holds a B.A. in English from Duquesne University, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University, and a Doctorate in Naturopathy from Clayton College of Natural Healing.
For the past 20 years, Candy has immersed herself in integrative healing practices, studying and teaching multiple Reiki modalities—including Usui, Gendai, and Karuna Reiki—for over 16 years. She is also an ordained minister through the Sanctuary of the Beloved Church and is honored to perform weddings and funerals.
Her extensive training includes:
An eight-year study of shamanic transformational healing and psychology
A four-year apprenticeship in shamanic healing
Several years at the Peacemakers School of Natural Healing with Jane Ely, Ph.D., integrating Native American, energy healing, shamanic, and Buddhist philosophies
Studies with the late Rev. Randall Hastings and initiation into the Brotherhood of the Feathered Serpent
Initiation into the Munay-Ki rites in 2007, which she continues to pass on
Candy has led workshops, women’s circles, meditation classes, and participated in a women’s drum group. Her integrative approach is personalized, drawing from her diverse training to help each individual move forward on their healing journey.
