This all-ages, family friendly festival showcases a blend of New Zealand's alternative musical talent. From Hip Hop to Rock, Punk and Metal, 6 different bands, there is something for everyone. Located at the iconic Oneonesix, a community operated performance and art theatre in the heart of Whangarei, 116 Bank Street. Doors open at 4.30pm, first band at 5pm.

Wavepig - whangarei local punk stalwarts, these guys never fail to deliver a masterclass in filthy slop covered punk. Their intense musical theatre will leave us all begging for more.
Slimivich - the finest Christchurch grim-hop, is the latest sonic expression of barely suppressed rage from seasoned Aotearoa heavy music veterans Slim Jenkins and Mo Galloway of TAINTED infamy. Call it alternative or experimental, call it industrial, or even call it GRIM-HOP, fans new and old will not fail to be impressed by this reinterpretation of the same venom spitting Slim they came to know and love, or hate.
People of the Sun - People Of The Sun is an explosive new psychedelic rock trio featuring seasoned NZ musicians Joseph Anderson, Djordje Nikolic and Tom Scrase. Drawing inspiration from a rich palette of rock, soul, jazz and indigenous music; these disparate elements give rise to a powerful and dynamic new sound that evokes the landscapes of Aotearoa, as well as the shared experience of her people.
Forsaken Age are a heavy metal band from Auckland, New Zealand which pays homage to their heavy metal heroes.
Described as "unapologetic 80s traditional metal worship", Forsaken Age delivers galloping riffs, power melodies and lyrics which conjure images of vikings and fantasy battles. "With every riff, solo and drum fill, you hear metal lineage recreated, reinterpreted, and celebrated"
