Eternal Romance: An Operatic Affair Experience the passion and drama of the opera and operetta world with Eternal Romance: An Operatic Affair - a concert series that brings together internationally acclaimed talent for an evening of unforgettable music.
Featuring New Zealand’s own soprano Sophie Sparrow and baritone Jonathan Eyers, British tenor Guy Elliott, and Australian mezzo-soprano Jade Moffat—these concerts promise an evening of exquisite music. With careers flourishing across the UK and Europe, these performers bring world-class artistry to stages in New Zealand.
Performing scenes from Monteverdi to Verdi, Gilbert and Sullivan to Sondheim, Eternal Romance will take you on a journey through the best of opera and operetta. Accompanied by the brilliant pianists Juan Kim and Catherine Norton (Wellington only), this is a celebration of timeless music you won’t want to miss.
