Whangamatā planting - South end

Join the Coastcare team and the Whangamatā Dune Protection Society for a morning of planting native plants in the dunes between access 11 and 18. Look for the Coastcare flags!
Holes will mostly be done with an auger prior to planting.
Come along to our first event of the planting season, lend a hand in the sand, followed by a hot cuppa and a bickie.
What to bring:
- Please wear covered footwear, bring warm clothes & rain jacket. - Bring own water bottle.
- Planting equipment will be provided but feel free to bring your favourite gloves if you like.
- Gather a few friends or family members to come along!
Morning tea will be provided.
