WEYF Beverley Flemingate from the 12 to the 21C

A short walk will take you through an area of significance in the history of Beverley. Starting at the Beckside mooring of Beverley Barge Preservation Society’s flagship Syntan in the industrial heart of old Beverley, we will travel a short distance to see how this area of Beverley has changed and is now a part of the present and future. Our walk will end with an opportunity to visit the East Riding College, a new building with high environmental standards, a modern design in an historic setting and with an unparalleled view of the Minster.

We meet outside the gangway to Syntan (by the restored crane), located on the south of the Beckside pavement.
