Join 22Walk_702 and Team RWBWhether your trying to get in those last few miles for the GWOT 100, or just want to take a nice walk around the Las Vegas Wetlands Park Nature Preserve, join us Saturday morning, February 28th, at 0900, for a nice moderate hike outdoors. This hike is about 2 miles long. After the hike we’ll head towards a local coffee shop or diner for if you’re available to join us.
Because the weather can be predictable this time of year, check the forecast the morning of the event. Feel free to bring water, snakes, hats, sunglasses, and of course, sturdy shoes. Please do not wear open-toed shoes or sandals. Be safe, not sorry.
At the conclusion of the hike, before leaving, we will circle back to the visitor center and check out the exhibits. It should be a nice experience and family is welcome. Unfortunately, due to the abundance of wildlife (especially birds), they do not allow dogs on the trails, so please keep fur kids at home.
So, get up, get outdoors, get those extra miles, and join us!
