Join us for a wet walk at CREW Flint Pen Strand Trails and explore the ecosystems that provide Southwest Florida's drinking water. On this walk, we'll traverse a seasonal marsh, cypress swamp, and pine flatwood, three wetland ecosystems that help replenish our aquifers - the source of Southwest Florida's drinking water. Together, we'll explore these unique ecosystems and discover just how important they are to our Southwest Florida community!

Things To Know:
Water levels may range from dry to a few inches to up to 3 feet.
Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and plenty of drinking water are required.
Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, walking sticks, shade umbrellas, and dry bags/backpacks for your phone/keys are recommended.
Walking sticks will be available to borrow.
Rain boots, waders, flip flops, crocs, and other open-toe shoes are NOT allowed.
