Westminster and Black History Walking Tour

Have you ever wondered while walking through the streets of London, why is that there? No worries, we’ve wondered for you. We are about to take you on a seen-and-unseen black history tour of Westminster. Untold stories of black and mixed heritage people who have contributed significantly to Great British History. 

We kick off at Westminster, and we will

Find ourselves marching over the bridge (the one near Burberry’s Head office) all the way to Waterloo.

There may be some twists and turns, but please ensure that you wear comfy shoes or trainers as we are going to clock in those steps. Expect at least 13,000 to 15,000 steps.

Due to the weather, please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. I know first aid, but yo! It ain't safe, so we will have a first-aid person on the tour with us, just in case there are any emergencies. 

We will curate a playlist to keep you moving before the tour day, and who doesn't really love music? 

After the tour, join us for a panel discussion hosted by the hosts of Sister, Friends and Guests Podcast

The panel will discuss the history and future of local and international politics and what this means for people of colour. If you are a walking tour guest, you will automatically receive an invite to the panel discussion.
