West Coast Swing: Newcomer/Novice Mock JnJ Session + Social

Come dance West Coast Swing with us!
This week, we will have a JnJ prep session and social. The session is intended for Newcomer/Novice levels. Instead of traditional JnJ which gives rankings, we will have "judges" who will observe your individual dance and give you scores on several categories, as a way of feedback on your strengths and weaknesses. This would be perfect for you especially if you plan to compete at Swingtacular, one of the biggest WCS conventions in the US held in Burlingame on August 6-9, 2026!
Free for Stanford Students
$5 for non-students
Schedule (8/1/26):
12:00-12:30 PM: "Dos and Don'ts in WCS Jack and Jill Competitions" by Hikari
12:30-2:00 PM: Mock JnJ Session + Feedback
2:00-3:00 PM: Social dancing!
Location: EVGR-C Dance Studio (Room 153)
