Over 4 x 2-hour classes, youโll not only learn the basic steps and timing but also explore key techniques, partner connection, and learn additional pattern content. The extended format allows for more practice time and feedback, ensuring you build a solid foundation before joining our regular drop-in classes on Thursdays.
This 8 hour course is taught over 4 weeks and you'll learn:
โ๏ธ 6 and 8 count rhythm structure
โ๏ธ Fundamental patterns and transitional patterns
โ๏ธ Solo drills
โ๏ธ Connection and partner technique for a follower and a leader
We'll rotate partners and there'll be a chance to ask for feedback during class. West Coast Swing is de-gendered and anyone can choose to sign-up as a leader or a follower. Follower places tend to go quickly so there may be a wait-list but we encourage you to join the wait-list or find a leader to join you!

Please note there is a 1 week break before Easter.
