We’re so excited to launch Youth Theatre at West Cheltenham Arts 🎭
This brand new group for ages 14–18 will focus on:
✨ Ensemble performance skills
✨ Voice and physical theatre
✨ Creating meaningful performance opportunities
Led by Penelope, Head of Drama at West Cheltenham Arts and professional voice practitioner with over 15 years’ experience. Penelope holds a Master of Fine Arts in Professional Voice Studies (Bristol Old Vic Theatre School) and a BA (Hons) in Theatre. She is an experienced actress (Theatre, Film, TV), director, composer, and voice coach, having founded youth theatre companies, led workshops for children and adults, and created large-scale theatre productions. Penelope specialises in acting, vocal training, directing, and inclusive performance education, helping young performers build confidence and stage skills.
We’re proud to be supported by a professional theatre, giving our young performers the chance to work towards performing in a professional setting. Enrolled students will also explore local theatre tours, receive tickets to productions, and take part in creative collaborations to broaden experiences and raise aspirations.
