Supported internships have a great track record of supporting young people aged 16 to 24 with an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) into employment. Essentially, they are a different type of FREE education programme aimed at young people that learn by doing rather than being in the classroom 24/7.
If you're curious about how supported internships operate swing by our Information Session which is being delivered by the Charity Ways into Work in partnership with West Berkshire Council, and hosted at Newbury College. This is your chance to learn about Supported Internship programmes, ask questions, get a feel for what it's all about and what's currently available in the West Berks area.
Whether you're a student, parent, or educator, this event is open to anyone interested in exploring and preparing for the step out of education into employment.
