West Belfast Small Biz Roundtable:Taking Care of the Pennies

The West Belfast Small Business Roundtable was established to provide entrepreneurs, founders and small business owners with crucial tips on how to build a better business. The gatherings, limited to 14 places, also give attendees a unique opportunity to network with their peers and get to meet a key business leader. On this occasion, we're delighted to be joined by John Hannaway who became the first-ever West Belfast partner in Coopers & Lybrand - now PwC - at the age of just 30. On retirement from PwC in 2013, John set up HannawayCA Chartered Accountants (since renamed HCA Chartered Accountants). That firm has now been extended to the HCA (Hannaway Corporate Advisory) group of companies which also includes HCA Business Recovery, HCA Corporate Finance and the online bookkeeping specialist Magic Beans. From the Rock Streets to being crowned 'Accountant of the Year' in the 2022 Irish Accountancy Awards has been quite the journey for this Simmarian. At the Roundtable, John will share his business insights over the past 40 years to provide our small business owners with a roadmap to success.
