About this Event

Join outdoor content creator, community builder and nature enthusiast Lira Valencia for a guided nature walk through Greenwich Park in South East London.

Together, we'll explore the wildlife around us. Discover how accessible nature and green spaces can support our wellbeing, create a sense of calm, and offer space for reflection, even in the middle of our busy urban lives.

This is a relaxed walk, and you don’t need any specific nature knowledge to take part, just curiosity and shoes and clothes you’re comfortable to walk in, so please come as you are.

There will be opportunities for birdwatching, mindful listening, and gentle conversation, but there’s no pressure to participate in a particular way.

We hope you’ll leave with some simple ways of reconnecting with nature in everyday life, especially within our shared city home. Lira invites you to slow down, explore mindfully, and reconnect with nature – no pressure, no gatekeeping– just fresh air and curiosity.

The walk will last for about 90 minutes.

Access note: Mostly paved routes with optional grass sections. There's a steep uphill walk to reach the Observatory View Point. We will share a visual map ahead of the workshop.
