We are changing the group. It will be run every week on a Thursday afternoon.
We will rotate the themes or activities.
Week 1 will be a free lunch and a talk.
Week 2 will be themed around health and wellbeing where we will have services and organisations visiting to share what they offer and to offer 1:1 advice if requested.
Week 3 will be a trip somewhere, this will be funded and will include a free packed lunch from our cafe. (we do request that you book in online or let us know in advance if you would like to join this.
Week 4 will be themed around skills, learning a new skill is shown to improve wellbeing.
The group is a very welcoming group, we offer a safe space to come and meet new people and enjoy the activities available. If you have any particular concerns around your wellbeing we are able to offer signposting and we are able to refer to some of our colleagues in other services. But more importantly you are simply invited to drop in for as long or short a time as you'd like and have a free hot drink and biscuits.
We think having conversations helps you beat loneliness and isolation, and make new friends in your neighbourhood.
