About this Event

For young adults aged 18–25: an evening of wellbeing, connection, support… and pizza

We warmly invite you to gather around the fire in the Bridgetown yurt for an afternoon/evening exploring wellbeing, suicide prevention, support, referral pathways, play, and circle practice — with plenty of delicious pizza to share.

This event is especially for young adults aged 18–25.

Together we’ll explore wellbeing and suicide prevention in an open, supportive space, with opportunities to listen deeply and share from personal experience through the ancient practice of Way of Council. We’ll also connect through playful activities, and hear a talk from Chukameka Maxwell (Goodwill in Action to Prevent Suicide) to help open this important conversation.
Come along to connect, be heard, learn about support available, and find out more about the wellbeing project.

We ask for a donation of between £5-£20 to reserve your place - if you would like this back afterwards we are happy to refund it after you have been to the event.

What people say about these circles:

“I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience and was not expecting it to be so profound. I felt safe amongst mostly strangers which was very welcome. The circle was held in such a way that I felt able to quietly dispel judgement and self doubt and listen more to my heart and allow me to be and feel accepted just as I am. I felt much less alone having taken part. Thank you. Heartfelt thank you x “

“Heidi held a clear, welcoming space which supported a deep and heartfelt sharing, I’m blown away “

“Heidi and Sam worked beautifully as a team to create an evening that was very special. They are wonderful, inspirational leaders and it was a joy “

“The setting, the care of preparation and the holding of the space created a place of peace and safety.....”
