Join us for a hands-on welding workshop where you'll create a custom set of metal bookends to take home. Whether you're brand new to welding or looking to sharpen your skills, this class offers a fun and practical introduction to metal fabrication and MIG welding.
What You'll Learn
- Metal Fabrication Basics – Learn how to safely cut and prepare square tube stock using a cold saw, chop saw, and angle grinder.
- MIG Welding Techniques – Gain hands-on experience using a Lincoln Electric Easy MIG 180 while practicing tack welds and weld beads.
- Finishing & Cleanup – Discover techniques for fitting materials, cleaning welds, and applying finishing touches for a polished final product.

- Skill Level: Open to all experience levels, from beginners to experienced welders.
- Safety Gear: All required safety equipment will be provided.

- First-Time Participants: Please arrive 15 minutes early for orientation and safety instructions.
- Late Arrival Policy: Participants arriving more than 10 minutes after the start time may not be able to join the workshop for safety reasons.
