Welcome Day toivottaa Suomeen muuttaneet uudet asukkaat tervetulleeksi Helsinkiin! Ja kutsuu juhlaan mukaan myös kaikki kannelmäkeläiset.
Kanneltalon Welcome Day -tapahtumassa kaupunkilaiset pääsevät tutustumaan Kulttuurikeskus Kanneltaloon sekä oman asuinalueensa palveluihin, harrastuksiin ja vapaa-ajan tarjontaan.
Welcome Dayssa nautitaan musiikista ja päästään osallistumaan mukaviin työpajoihin. Kaupungin palvelut ja harrastustoimintaa järjestävät yhdistykset esittelevät toimintaansa ja vastaavat asukkaiden kysymyksiin.
Ohjelmaa järjestetään Kanneltalon eri tiloissa – kahvilasta kirjastoon – ja päivä huipentuu Grande Mahoganyn konserttiin Kannelsalissa.
Welcome Dayssa puhumme englantia. Tapahtuma on maksuton, eikä siihen tarvitse ilmoittautua.

• Vastaanotto aulassa: nuoret ottavat vieraat vastaan
• 250 ensimmäiselle kävijälle on jaossa tarjoilulipukkeita klo 16–18: lipukkeella saa Kanneltalon kahvilasta karjalanpiirakan ja mehun, kahvin tai teen.
16–19 | Tapahtumatori | Aula
Alueen eri toimijat esittelevät toimintaansa aulassa.

Klovni Täpätä viihdyttää kävijöitä aulassa läpi illan!

Tule koko perheen kanssa laulamaan Mari Kätkän johdolla tuttuja ja helppoja suomenkielisiä lauluja ja katsomaan, kuinka laulujen sanat heräävät eloon Sari Airolan livepiirrosten ja kuvitusten kautta. Ensimmäinen työpaja pidetään klo 17–17.30, toinen työpaja klo 17.30–18.

Welcome Day offers new residents of Finland a warm welcome to Helsinki! All Kannelmäki residents are invited to join the celebrations.
At the event, we give locals an opportunity to explore Cultural Centre Kanneltalo, as well as other services, hobbies and leisure activities available in their own residential area.
During Welcome Day, you can enjoy music and take part in fun workshops. City services and associations organising leisure time activities present their operations and are available to answer any and all of your questions.
The programme takes place in various facilities at Kanneltalo – from the café to the library – and the day culminates in a concert by Grande Mahogany in the Theatre and Concert Hall.
At Welcome Day, we speak English. The event is free of charge and no registration is required.

• Reception in the lobby: young people welcome visitors
• The first 250 visitors will receive refreshment vouchers between 16.00 and 18.00: the vouchers can be exchanged at the Kanneltalo café for a Karelian pie and juice, coffee or tea.

Various local operators present their activities in the lobby.

Täpätä the Clown entertains visitors in the lobby all evening long!

Bring your whole family along to sing familiar and easy Finnish songs led by Mari Kätkä, and see how the lyrics come to life through Sari Airola’s live drawings and illustrations. The first workshop will be held at 17.00–17.30 and the second at 17.30–18.00.
