It's the last day of Welcome Week and your UoN adventure is about to kick off properly!The day begins with a 'Starting your Digital Student Life' talk from the Student Academic Skills team. This session will cover using Outlook and Microsoft teams, how to professionally communicate with UoN staff and give tips for avoiding digital overload all while maintaining academic integrity.
At 11am the Part 2 of the 'Maths: Computing Bootcamp' is happening with the Maths department.
You'll now have some free time to explore the SU Independent Fair where local Independent businesses from Nottingham have come to connect with students.
At 2pm there is a compulsory 'Learning at the University' session, this will cover what to expect from your time at UoN and how to get the most out of your course. This will also offer tips on staying motivated and managing your time. Attendance of this session is monitored for assessment.
And finally there will be another 'Drop-In Q&A' session with the ESE team to answer any questions you may have before teaching begins on the following Monday.
