The second day of Welcome Week starts with some free time to explore the SU Welcome fair or head over to the David Ross Sports Village and see what sports and society UoN have to offer. Join a society focusing on your hobbies or take a chance and try something new!At 11am there is an online session for international students which gives an overview of what to expect while staying in Nottingham and studying at UoN.
After lunch there's a 'Making the Most of your Degree' session where you can hear about the SU from our education rep, learn about how the careers and employability service can benefit you and get some information about the Nottingham Advantage Award.
After a quick break we'll focus on the Natural Sciences community, touching on how to take care of yourself as a fresher and how the Education and Student Experience team can support you while you're here.
It's then time to meet your personal tutor, they'll be a point of contact for you throughout your degree and you can discuss any future meetings you may have with them.
We're then wrapping up the day with a Drop-In Q&A session where you can see the ESE team, the director and DLO who can answer any questions you may want to ask.
