Welcome to the World: Barnsley Hospital and North Family Hub

We will cover a range of topics, including:

• Understanding your baby
• Baby’s brain development
• Your future as parents and as a family
• Your roots, traditions, hopes and fears for the future
• Breastfeeding and the practical tasks of caring for a new baby
• The need to look after ourselves

Our class provides a welcoming space to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with other parents-to-be.

Who is it for?

These sessions are for parents/carers and other adult family members only.

For those who are at least 24 weeks pregnant and their birth partners. Suitable for first-time parents or those looking for a refresher. You only need to book one ticket, and this will include your birth-partner.

Dates as follows:

• 3rd October 24th October (North Family Hub, Lindhurst Road, Athersley, S71 3NB)
• 10th October (Barnsley Hospital)
• 17th October (Barnsley Hospital)
• 24th October (Barnsley Hospital)
• 31st October (Barnsley Hospital)

Tickets must be booked for each individual attending the course. If you are bringing a partner or other family member, book them a ticket too.
