An illustrated talk on the rise through four generations of one of Barnsley’s most prominent and influential families, the Lancasters, auctioneers, valuers and estate agents. A talk by James Stevenson, Project Archivist, on behalf of the Friends of Barnsley Archives.The talk will take place in the Council Chamber at 11am. Admission is £3, proceeds to the Friends of Barnsley Archives (pay on the door, no need to book in advance)
