Welcome to the Different Worlds of Different Light! Welcome to the worlds of each performer, and the worlds of disability performance in Brazil, Greece, Norway, Russia, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. The performance interweaves myths of origins and myths of ability and disability with Greek mythology and unique perspectives of why and how we make theatre and the beauty, challenges, and joy of disability theatre.

Different Light Theatre has been performing in Christchurch since 2004. They have performed in Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne, Leeds and San Jose, USA. Do not miss this first performance in Christchurch since 2019. This performance has been presented at Victoria, University of Wellington in December 2025 and will be presented at the World Congress of the International Federation for Theatre Research at the University of Melbourne July 6th-10th, 2026. The company will be creating a Performance Space at the Prague Quadrennial Festival of Performance Space and Design in June 2027.
