Discover the vibrant flavors of Vietnam in this hands-on class featuring Bánh Xèo, the country's famous crispy savory pancake, and fresh shrimp summer rolls served with a traditional nước mắm dipping sauce. You'll learn how to prepare the golden turmeric-infused batter, fill and crisp the pancakes, and master the technique of rolling delicate rice paper wraps with shrimp, vermicelli noodles, and fresh herbs. This class celebrates the balance of fresh ingredients, crisp textures, and bold sweet, sour, salty, and savory flavors that make Vietnamese cuisine a favorite around the world.
On the Menu:
Bahn Xeo- a traditional Vietnamese crispy savory pancake made with a golden turmeric-infused rice flour batter and filled with shrimp, pork, bean sprouts, and fresh herbs. Served with lettuce, herbs, and a flavorful nước mắm dipping sauce, this iconic dish delivers a perfect balance of crispy textures, fresh flavors, and savory Vietnamese cuisine.
Shrimp summer roll with Nuc mam- a fresh and refreshing Vietnamese dish made with delicate rice paper wrappers filled with shrimp, rice noodles, crisp vegetables, and fragrant herbs. Served with a traditional nước mắm dipping sauce, these light and flavorful rolls highlight the perfect balance of sweet, sour, salty, and savory flavors that define Vietnamese cuisine.

🍽️ What to Wear:
Please wear long pants and flat, closed-toe shoes for your safety. Long hair should be tied back. You will be standing and cooking for most of the class, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Sandals, flip-flops, and high heels are not permitted in Columbus State kitchens.

💬 Cancellation Policy:
If you need to cancel your class booking, you may do so up to 48 hours before the class to receive a refund or class credit. If The Mix must cancel a class for any reason, you will be notified by phone or email and offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

No refunds will be issued after the class has been held.
