The Tacoma Rose Society has proudly cared for the roses at Point Defiance for over 100 years. Come join us as you are able to learn about roses, get some practice, and enjoy the park ahead of the weekend crowds.
Deadheading held on Thursday mornings to prepare the gardens for the weekend visitors. Bring your own Pruners, Gloves, Bucket, and weather protection.
This occurs rain or shine - Hats, Jackets, Sleeves, Sunscreen, and a Water Bottle are all strongly recommended.
