Spring is in the air and it’s time to start thinking about flowers! The Point Defiance Flower & Garden Festival is June 6 –7, 2026. This year the festival features activities for kids with workshops and nature walks designed just for the young ones.
Admission to the festival is FREE but the following workshops, garden tours and nature walks require registration. Space is limited.
MAKE & TAKE WORKSHOPS
Take home your one-of-a-kind creations. Choose from these workshops:

💮Magical Woodland Terrarium
💮Bridgerton and The Language of Flowers
💮Create a Fairy Garden
GUIDED GARDEN TOURS
Tour the Japanese garden with the expert horticulturists who help maintain and design it. A historian accompanies the tour to talk about the history and stories surrounding the garden.
PAINT & SIP WORKSHOPS
Join local artists in the Rose Garden for this one-of-a-kind experience. Sip on a selection of curated wines and follow along with the instructor to create a unique work of art to take home.
PAINT & PUNCH WORKSHOPS
Kid-friendly! These workshops are designed especially for youth. Participants can follow along with the instructor to paint a unique work of art.

Kid-friendly! Designed just for kids. Get creative in the garden and take home your one-of-a-kind creations. Choose from these workshops:
