Join our Monday evening art sessions where we will be exploring different techniques & mediums in relaxed, one off sessions.
I will greet you promptly between 18:15-18:25 as there is a security code to enter the studios. (see photos below)

These sessions are a playful opportunity to nourish our holistic selves whilst relaxing with mindful creative activities. Honour your need for a playful creative outlet that will boost your wellbeing & provide fun within the realms of creativity and the art of being in the moment.
Taking creative liberties without the need for experience, judgement or rules.
Fully held, supported and guided by Shannon S. Wishon, Creative Holistic Practitioner at her #Wakefield City Centre Studio.
25th May-Collaborative still life creations
Through drawing from objects, we will co-create pieces of art that will be gathered together to make a group masterpiece.
1st June-The Art Class for Being in the Moment
This week we will be contemplating the art of balance, contrast & composition in our artwork using only black & white.
8th June-Summer Sun on Canvas
A sunny summer themed session where we will create collaboratively using a shiny palette to reflect the season’s light.
15th June-Make a Solstice Sun Catcher
Using very simple materials and our bright imaginations this week to honour our star.
22nd June-Ancient Cave Art
We will be guided by this global art where our materials will echo this mesmerising & ancestral motif.
29th June-Nature’s Botanical Art
A botanically themed week where we will look to nature & her beautiful offerings to inspire our class this evening.
6th July-Summer Trees- Myth & Lore
Looking at our indigenous trees and their messages to inspire our art practice in this week’s session.
13th July-Mexicana Folk Art
This week, we will contemplate this cultural motif using a rainbow palette to individually mirror this style.
SUMMER BREAK- Classes resume Monday August 10th
- Free parking after 6pm on Market St, Carter St, Cheapside, Unity Hall etc.
- Mature12+/U16 with an adult
- All materials & refreshments are included but feel free to bring your own to use

Monday’s Art Circle is about what the artists attending want, so that the circle will grow and cultivate ideas as we go!
