Week 7 of The Pointer School Summer Holiday Club- Outdoor week
About this Event
Join us for a week of craft and fun activities based upon our theme of The Outdoors.
The Pointer School Holiday club is a childcare facility for children aged 3 - 11. We offer a varied program of activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games and educational play to stimulate and entertain children.
Our arts and crafts are based on the theme of the week and include weekly special events and visitors.
The Holiday Club offers a safe environment with excellent adult: child ratios, under the watchful eye of our experienced staff who are all DBS checked. All our leaders are pediatric first aid qualified, and have experience in the Early Years.
Please provide your child with a cold nut-free pack lunch, a fruit snack for the morning and a refillable water bottle.

Day 1 Woodland Animals
Info: This morning our younger children will be making paper plate owls whilst our older children will be making craft foxes. In the afternoon the children will all create animals from leaves. The children will also be baking with our fabulous Cookie Monsters team

Day 2 - Planting
Info: This morning all the children will create seeds bombs to throw in the garden or window boxes. In the afternoon the children will decorate plant pots and plant some seeds to take home.

Day 3- Minibeasts and Bugs
Info: This morning our younger children will create bug fossils using playdough whilst our older children will create bee hotels using cups and paper straws. In the afternoon the children will create bug headbands and caterpillars.

Day 4 -Weather & Sky
Info: This morning our younger children will create craft binoculars whilst our older children will create a cloud in a jar. In the afternoon all the children will make rainbow windsocks.

Day 5-Biscuits and party afternoon
Info: This morning the children will decorate biscuits and in the afternoon they will have a party afternoon where they will take part in party games to win prizes.
