Wednesday Workshop: Trash Free Gulf

Calling all the helpers! With a goal of collecting 45,000 pounds of trash, building on the 34,000 pounds removed in 2025 Trash Free Gulf has more than 60 cleanup events planned across Texas through May. About
Trash Free Gulf is the Gulf Trust's statewide litter cleanup campaign, working to protect the rivers, streams, lakes, bays, and coastal waters that all 31 million Texans share. Because most of Texas drains into the Gulf, nearly every piece of litter has the potential to reach the coast — making this everyone's issue, no matter where you live.
Now in its second year and presented by H-E-B's Our Texas, Our Future, the campaign partners with local organizations across the state to mobilize volunteers and keep trash out of Texas waterways before it ever reaches the Gulf.
