Wednesday Wander – A Day at the Zoo
About this Event
Wednesday Wander is your chance to discover the city you live in — one relaxed adventure at a time. Each month we explore a different corner of Seattle, from hidden neighbourhood gems to scenic trails and local favourites. Get together with other Aussies and Kiwis as we introduce you to Seattle’s best kept secrets.
This month, we're swapping trails for tails as Wednesday Wander heads to Woodland Park Zoo.
Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, Woodland Park Zoo is one of Seattle's great attractions and the perfect excuse to slow down, wander at your own pace and spend a morning with fellow Aussies and Kiwis.
We'll spend a few hours exploring together, stopping to admire everything from playful penguins and majestic big cats to cheeky primates and the zoo's beautiful gardens. There's no rush and no set route—we'll simply wander, explore and enjoy discovering the zoo together.
Because sometimes the best adventures involve giraffes.
Good to know: We'll be wandering the zoo together at a relaxed pace, but you're welcome to spend a little longer at your favourite exhibits and catch up with the group along the way. Whether you're coming on your own, with a partner or bringing the kids, this is designed to be a relaxed, social morning rather than a guided tour.
Afterwards, anyone who's keen is welcome to stay for lunch or a coffee together.
