Where to Meet
Parking: North Parking Lot
Meet at: Entry Garden
Park in the South Seattle College's north parking Lot. The entrance to the garden is located to the left of the Chan Education Center. We will meet in the grass at the Entry Garden.
Schedule
- 10-11:00 am – Class discussion, storytime and activity
- 11-11:30 am – Nature walk and scavenger hunt
- 11:30+ – Open play*
*There is a playground and wading pool near the pavillion. The park also features many forested hikes, and if you're lucky, you may even find Bruun Idun, Lincoln Park's giant wooden troll.

Adult:Kid Ratio
There must be at least one adult per 2 kids. When selecting tickets, please use the corresponding "Child" or "Adult" ticket for each participant.

This outdoor educational program includes light physical activity and short nature walks. Participation involves inherent outdoor risks, including uneven terrain, weather conditions, and exposure to natural environments. Parents/guardians are responsible for informing the program leader of any medical conditions, allergies, or accommodations needed for participation.
Parents/guardians will be required to sign a consent form prior to participation. The form will be emailed in advance and will also be available the day of the class.

Class Discussion, Storytime & Activity
Info: Kiddos will learn all about the benefits of gardening with native plants. We will also read a themed book and do a group activity.
🕑: 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Nature Walk & Scavenger Hunt
Info: After the class discussion, each kid will receive a scavenger hunt. We will then take a short nature walk on park trails to observe the things we learned about during the class.
