Wed Wine Tasting! - Figgins Winery - Walla Walla Washington!

Gary & Nancy Figgins started the pioneer Washington State winery "Leonetti Cellar" in 1977 recognizing the amazing opportunity to replicate vineyards & wines, with diverse terroir, microclimates and long growing season in the Columbia Valley, a full seven years BEFORE the region gained AVA status - That is a massive space spanning 11 million acres in Eastern WA and NE Oregon. SInce then the AVA has designated 18 sub AVA's as vineyards grew in volume & awareness of the terroir. Chris Figgins their son grew up in the vineyards, went to school to learn even more and then created Figgins Winery,

Their focus here is single-vineyard estate Bordeaux-style red wines, Figlia (an estate red blend), and dry Riesling, alongside select Burgundian varieties from Toil Oregon

One of Chris' unique addition is WA' first hillside-hewn caves cut into 15 year old basalt and a chilly temp of about 55 degrees!

Figglia was on our Cellar Club last year a bottling with 2 figs on the labels which were reflections of his 2 daughters!

We'll be serving charcuterie family-style, with light snack too and as always great conversations! 7 - 9:00 PM $75 + tax pp
