About this Event

Created in 2020 by Uptown Works (a community collaboration of the Haitian American Museum of Chicago and Emerald City – a local Uptown Coffee Shop) this exhibition brings together communities around the Chicagoland area to learn about the positive and influential impact Black and Diasporic individuals and communities have had around the World. Community organizations are invited to share their resources and engage in activities during the event. Musical guests are invited to showcase their talents through music, sound and various instruments. This exhibition is truly community centered with education at its core.

Returning to Dawes Park for the third time, join HAMOC, community organizations, artists and educators for this FREE event!

This event is open to the public. Ticketing is for RSVP only and helps support attendance reporting. Please feel free to just show up!
