Throughout history, queer and trans people have been revered as magicworkers, keepers of knowledge, and intermediaries between the physical and spiritual world. This power is in us all. This power is the Queer Spirit.
The Revel is a party/ritual to celebrate the Queer Spirit within ourselves and the queer leaders from history who are our spiritual ancestors.
By reveling together we can awaken our inner magic and draw upon the magic of our transcendent ancestors, including our spiritual guest of honor, Marsha P. Johnson. The Revel will also be a birthday celebration for Ms. Marsha! There will be art, music, dancing, and lots of magic.
