We Stand With Our Sisters - International Women's Day Photo Exhibition

Nyla Sammons met an incredible community of women from The Wellbeing Hub. She listened to their stories of struggle, pain and injustice, but also resilience, healing and hope, stories of how sisterhood have lifted their spirits and got them through some of their darkest days. Many spoke of the profound impact The Wellbeing Hub in Redbridge, led by the inspiring Cherrill Hutchinson of Black Woman Kindness Initiative and Raquel, had on their lives.

After meeting these incredible women the idea to produce a portrait series celebrating strength, courage and the transformative power of community came to life. Celebrating the enduring bond of sisterhood and the way it lifts each women, helping them heal, thrive and overcome.

The women photographed all belong to The Wellbeing Hub, and are sharing their stories on what sisterhood means to them.

On 10th March - Get a free portrait

On 10th March, in celebration of women, Nyla Sammons is offering complimentary portrait sessions for women, taking place at the exhibition. Wear what makes you feel amazing, bring your make-up, and your best smile, this moment is all about you. (Each session wil be 10mins, from 12pm - 4pm).

Each woman will get one retouched image emailed to them after the session.

The exhibition will be open on 10th and 11th March 2026 and free for the public to attend.
