Travel into the festival car-free, cycle on your bike, hop on a Lime Scooter or rent a Starling Bike and meet us outside Peel Park for the Bike Bus!

Join the Bee Pedal Ready Bike Bus, a fun, family-friendly led ride into We Invented The Weekend, arriving car-free and together by bike or scooter. This guided Bike Bus offers a different way to travel, bringing families, friends, and cyclists of all ages together at a relaxed, sociable pace.

Open to everyone, it’s a safe, friendly way to cycle into the festival as one buzzing community. Let’s cycle into the weekend together!

Meeting Point: Outside Peel Park, adjacent to the University of Salford, next to the SALFORD sign.

Time: 11am-11:30am

Route: Peel Park - Media City. Peel Park-Media City along road | gravel ride | Komoot

Pace: Social and laid back! Family friendly

Gear: Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous!! Bring some water and snacks if needed. Please bring a spare inner tube that is the right size and will fit your bike.

We strongly encourage the use of helmets and ask that all riders ensure that their bikes are in sound working order and road worthy before the day. Please note that balance bikes or scooters are not allowed on this ride. On safety advice, we have set the age at 9+ because we are riding on the road and all participants need to be confident cyclists . Any rider below the age of 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18+ who must stay with them for the duration of the ride, who is also on a bike. Younger children in cargo bikes or/and bike seats are welcome.
