We Demand Change: Scottish Summit of Resistance

This summit will bring together community campaigners, trade unionists and activists and it aims to create a space for different networks and parts of the movement to come together —to debate, organise, learn from each other and mobilise the collective resistance that we need. We hope to work to amplify the campaigns and calls to action already happening across our communities.

Working class people have suffered under decades of neoliberal policies, privatisation and cuts. The Labour government is waging war on workers, disabled people, Palestine solidarity activists, refugees and trans people. After almost two decades in office, the SNP has failed to tackle poverty and inequality.

We say enough is enough. We won't allow impostors like Nigel Farage, who scapegoat migrants and oppose workers rights, to pretend they are the anti-establishment opposition. Jeremy Corbyn's and Zarah Sultana's launch of 'Your Party' has shown hundreds of thousands want to see change and a break with the politics of 'business as usual'. With the Holyrood elections in 2026 fast approaching, it's time for a stronger left to come together and go on the offensive.

Join us for a day of solidarity networking at the Scottish Summit of Resistance! Together, we will discuss pressing issues, share ideas, and strategise for a better future. Let's come together to demand change and fight for a more just society.
