Our libraries are launching, Summer Reading Challenge 2026 which starts on Saturday 4th July and ends on Saturday 12th September.

It's for children from all ages to read for pleasure during the school summer holidays.

This year's theme is Read to the Beat! to celebrate the joy of music, sound, and rhythm. Powered in partnership with Universal Music Group UK.

The theme explores how stories and songs share the ability to inspire, connect, and transport young minds.
