Volunteer numbers for this project are based on adults and children ages 11 and older. Younger children are encouraged to attend with their parents but registration is NOT needed for any child 10 and under.

What sort of work will I be doing?

LANDSCAPING:

- W**d/clean and rake mulch in beds. Mulch is in good shape, so just freshen with new mulch as needed after raking.
- Prune dead branches in arborvitae in bed at foot of the driveway.
- Saw off dead pine tree at base of tree (very small) and level with ground (near bed at the foot of the driveway).
- Fill rut in yard next to driveway with topsoil and sod (43 ft. by 15 in by 4 in deep)
- Sweep out and tidy storage shed.
CLEANING:

House exterior:
- Power wash back patio and any areas of house that need it.
- Clean out gutters and cobwebs from eaves.
- Wash windows.

House interior:

- Clean main living space of house, including kitchen and bathrooms.
- Wash windows

VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING (If you are able):

• WATER to drink
• Gardening Gloves
• Wheelbarrows (6 needed)
• Rakes (10 needed)
• Shovels / Pitchforks (8 needed)
• Trowels
• Shears
• Loppers

Optional:

• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Bug Spray

El número de voluntarios para este proyecto se basa en adultos y niños mayores de 11 años. Se anima a los niños más pequeños a que asistan con sus padres, pero el registro NO ES NECESARIO para cualquier niño menores de 10 años.
