***This project is NOT for families with children ages 10 and under***

What sort of work will I be doing?

LANDSCAPING:

- Mulch landscaping beds around the property.

- A wood deck on the southeast side of the building needs to be cleaned with Cabot Wood Cleaner.

- A limestone wall planter adjacent to the southwest corner also needs to be excavated and releveled.

- Remove & dispose of wood 2 x 6 edging and metal stakes along flower beds on the south side.

- Remove & dispose of landscaping timbers along the south walkway.

SKILLED Carpenter:

- A fence panel on the east side of the property needs to be installed with clips and screws. Remove and dispose of the old fence panel.

- Remove and dispose of a railroad tie retaining wall along the south side of the building (approximately 100’). (Heavy Lifting)

SKILLED Landscaper:

- Lead restoration of northwest corner of property, adjacent to sidewalk. Restore with top soil and sod (approximately 40 sf of sod).

***The Missionary Furlough Foundation provides temporary low cost housing to missionary families that are on furlough.

VOLUNTEERS SHOULD BRING (If you are able):

• WATER to drink
• Gardening Gloves
• Wheelbarrows (6 needed)
• Rakes (8 Needed)
• Shovels / Pitchforks (8 needed)
• Trowels
• Shears
• Loppers
• Carpentry tools (SKILLED Carpenter to bring)
• Work Gloves
• Sledge Hammers/Long Wrecking Bars/Vice Grips
• Safety Glasses

Optional:

• Hat
• Sunscreen
• Bug Spray
