Waukegan Concealed Carry Renewal Class

During the Illinois Concealed Carry Renewal class, students will review information necessary to renew his/her Illinois concealed carry permit. This class will consist of both classroom instruction and a shooting qualification consisting of 30 rounds. Per the Illinois State Police, instruction in this class will focus on the following:
All applicable state and federal laws relating to the ownership, storage, carry and transportation of a firearm
How to interact with law enforcement when transporting or carrying a firearm
Reminder of where you can and cannot carry a firearm
F.O .I.D. Act
Unlawful use of weapons
Use of force in defense of a person, dwelling or other property
Definition of dwelling, aggressor and forcible entry
