Using rocks, round objects and bottles/pillars under direct light we will cover:
1. Values - light, dark, and mid-tones
3. Blending - putting Values and Edges together
4. How Paint thickness and direction effect the overall look of the painting
From there we will use the remaining time to create either portraits or still life creations, based on the preference of the students. Learning will be hands on and adaptable to each student with plenty of time to ask questions and get one on one instructions.
Students will walk away with a completed underpainting and the skills/knowledge to tackle their own creations.
