NTDC classes prepare new foster parents with essential skills to support children in care. You’ll learn trauma-informed parenting, child development, behavior management, and how to build strong, healthy relationships with children and their families.
This training helps you understand how past experiences like abuse or neglect affect a child’s emotions and actions, and how to respond with patience, structure, and support. Our goal is to equip you with the tools and confidence to create a safe, stable, and nurturing home where children can heal and grow.
