The Waterman Lion's Club] is excited to announce a totally free Vision Screening event happening at the Clinton Township building on Sunday, August 17th, from 12 pm to 4 pm. If your child is anywhere from 6 months old up through 12th grade, bring them by for a no-cost vision check.Why do we care so much? Because catching vision issues early changes lives. Our years of hands-on experience have shown us that getting kids the help they need—even before they start school—can make a massive difference. It’s one of the most powerful, affordable ways to protect a child’s health and future.
We screen kids as young as six months all the way through high school, and we’re part of a global team of dedicated Lions volunteers making this happen all over the world.
There’s a real need for this. If vision problems aren’t found by age 7, they can stick around for life. Add to that the fact that so many kids are spending more time than ever staring at screens, and the problem’s only growing.
Best part? It’s completely free. Every screening is done by Lions volunteers specially trained to use safe, touchless screening devices. We care, we’re ready, and we’re here for your family—no strings attached.
