Waterford St. Patrick’s Day Festival 2025

Waterford City & County Council is delighted to welcome you back in 2025 to the Waterford St. Patrick’s Day Festival including the parade on Monday, March 17th!

The St. Patrick’s Day Festival will run for four fun-filled days from March 14th–17th 2025 in Waterford City and will celebrate the very best of what the city has to offer and what makes it the best place to live work and visit.

This year's festival embraces the theme "Saints and Scholars" highlighting Waterford's rich cultural heritage.

The city is easily accessible for families to enjoy the festivities. With an array of shopping & dining choices in the City, this festival gives you an extra opportunity to experience what Waterford has to offer.

Parade Route

The Waterford Annual Patricks Day Parade will take place on 17th March and will start at 1 pm with entries gathering at the Bridge Street end of the Quay. Begins at Waterford Bus Station and proceeds along the Quay past the Clock Tower and the Plaza continues around to the Mall and concludes at the Parnell Street end of the Mall.

Viewing Points

The parade will conclude at the Parnell St. end of the Mall so take advantage of the elevated viewing points at the Bishop’s Palace and the plaza at the House of Waterford Crystal.
