Our local school, St Patrick's NS, Strangsmills are in the midst of an ambitious fundraising campaign to develop a recently acquired half acre plot into a new outdoor play area. They hope to be able to provide the 200+ students who currently attend with some badly needed extra playground space, including a basketball court and soccer/GAA pitch.
As part of the effort, there will be a fundraiser at The Seantí on Saturday March 1st. Live music by "Lebowski", a Raffle and plenty of good craic!!!
