Discover the knowledge, develop the skill, and explore the process for watercolor painting, with a focus on Ventura County! Teaching artist Kim Vander Linden will demonstrate techniques, provide feedback, and foster peer communication while guiding you through the fundamentals of watercolor painting. Students will develop their own style using practical skills and follow a step-by-step process. The ultimate goal in this class is to enjoy your painting experience. This is a four-part course that will be taught on four consecutive Mondays: September 8, September 15, September 22, and September 29, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
This class is for ages 16 and over. The cost of the four-part course is $150 per person. All skill levels are welcome and all materials are provided. Preregistration is required and space is limited. The course will be held inside SPAM’s Cole Creativity Center located at 123 N 10th Street, Santa Paula, CA. Free parking is available directly behind the building and students may enter through the front or back door.
